About this position

A successful candidate should be able to work from the office in Krakow, Poland, at least 3 days per week.

We are searching for an experienced Backend Engineer with solid experience in both .NET and JS, and a strong background in Azure. You’ll work on building scalable services, optimizing performance, and contributing to architectural decisions for a high-load, content-rich platform.

The company is also a true technology leader as it strives to automate the majority of its processes and uses digital ordering platforms for better user experience. The project focuses on development and support of innovative tech solutions that are specifically adapted for the global pizza chain. In 2025, the company actively invests in:

– Online ordering systems;
– Mobile applications;
– Delivery automation (including robotic delivery);
– Use of computer vision for quality control;
– Custom AI for demand forecasting and automation of services.

The main goals of the project include the increase of operational efficiency via the automation of processes, improved interaction between the company and customers, and facilitated decision-making due to advanced data analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop new services and support existing systems for a business optimization platform (CRM);
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on requirements, priorities, and goals, ensuring seamless integration of business needs into the platform;
Apply new knowledge and skills to enhance project outcomes, continuously contributing to team objectives with innovative solutions;
Commit to continuous learning by staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve personal performance and the overall platform development.

Technical skills

5+ years proven of backend development skills in .Net / C#;
1+ years of actual experience working with client-side frameworks (React or React Native preferable);
4+ years of solid experience working with MS SQL;
2+ years of experience working with DevOps (Azure) technologies;
Experience in maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
Proficiency in RESTful web services and HTTP standards;
Good understanding of authentication and authorization standards for web services and protocols OAuth and Open ID Connect;
Familiarity with design patterns and applying them in real-world solutions;
Nice to have: experience in developing and maintaining backend services using .NET Core and Node.js.

Work schedule

Full-time position;
Work format: Hybrid. You need to come to the office in Krakow 3 days a week;
Flexible schedule from Monday to Friday. Most of our team members work from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Interview process

Competency-based interview with a Recruiter & English Check (30-45 min);
Technical interview covering the candidate’s skills with a SoftTeco’s Expert (1 hour);
Client-side interview in English;
Final HR interview to discuss work conditions and salary.
