About this position
We are hiring a Senior Vue.js Engineer to join team and take full ownership of the frontend development for a cross-platform application (mobile and web) in airline operations domain. The project runs in a startup-like environment, where priorities evolve quickly and initiative is key. This role is a strong fit for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for frontend decisions, working independently, and adjusting to changing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive UI with Vue 3, Ionic Capacitor, and Tailwind CSS
- Manage state (Pinia), routing (Vue Router), forms (Vee Validate), errors, and loading
- Integrate frontend with backend REST APIs; enable offline functionality where needed
- Implement multi-language support using i18n
- Write E2E tests (Cypress), maintain lint/format standards, support CI/CD in Azure DevOps
- Participate in code reviews and keep documentation up to date
- Communicate proactively, provide time estimates, and adapt to changing requirements
Technical requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in frontend development
- Proven production experience with Vue 3 (Composition API)
- Strong TypeScript skills and type-safe development
- Hands-on Ionic Capacitor for cross-platform mobile apps
- Proficient in Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling
- Experience with Pinia (state management) and Vue Router (routing)
- Knowledge of Vee Validate for form validation
- REST API integration experience
- Implementation of internationalization (i18n)
- Cypress for end-to-end testing
- Git and CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps)
- Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with .NET/C# for backend alignment
- Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and push notifications
- Knowledge of mobile build/signing workflows (Xcode, Android Studio, TestFlight, Play Console)
- Experience with offline-first architecture and strategies
- Unit testing using Vitest or Jest
Non-technical requirements
- Ability to collaborate closely with the client’s team and work effectively in a shared development environment
- Willingness to follow established code standards and best practices
- Experience providing accurate and realistic development estimates
- Ability to incorporate feedback and iteratively improve the solution
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level
