Client
The client is a ride-sharing startup with a broader ecosystem for riders, drivers, onboarding, and partner operations.
Challenge
The client needed a business-facing portal that could cover a wide range of transportation needs for partner organizations. This included route planning, ride monitoring, guest ride booking, and operational tools that vary by user role within the system. The challenge was to deliver a standalone business product that still fit into the larger platform and could continue to evolve as partner requirements grew.

Solution
SoftTeco built a business portal that gave partner users access to transportation management tools through a single interface. The portal supports route planning, transport monitoring, guest ride arrangement, and access to features based on employee rank or role. The product is designed as a standalone business application, but it also integrates with the wider ride-sharing ecosystem.

How it works
SoftTeco built the operational Angular version of the Business Portal using Java 8, Spring Boot 1.5.8, Docker, and Nginx. We also integrated external services, including Okta for authentication and Braintree for payment-related flows. This gave the client a product that handled operational tasks in a single interface, rather than pushing them into consumer tools.
Role-based access was a core part of the implementation. The portal had to support different user levels and expose the right features to the right people, so that we built the access logic and interface layouts into the product from the start. That helped the business side work through one tool that matched internal roles and responsibilities.
The product also continued to evolve after the first release. SoftTeco supported the next portal iteration and its migration to React, TypeScript, Redux, Redux Form, and Styled Components. This was not just maintenance, but a modernization step that moved the portal from a delivered Angular product to a newer frontend stack with a clearer path for future changes.

Results
SoftTeco has delivered the Angular-based business portal and continues to support its growth through ongoing updates and the next-stage migration to React. Today, the client has a partner-facing operational tool that covers route planning, transport monitoring, guest rides, and role-based access in one product. The portal has also become part of the broader platform strategy, where partner operations can be handled through a dedicated business interface instead of being forced into consumer-facing flows.
