About this position
We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer with 5+ years of professional experience to join a small, high-performing mobile team (Android and iOS) on a fintech project. The role involves taking full ownership of Android development, delivering production-ready apps to Google Play, and shaping the architecture of new and existing features.
The project is mission-critical and requires clean, scalable architecture, high reliability, and maintainable code.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle Android development, from design to production deployment on Google Play;
- Architecture design, technical leadership, and mentoring within the Android team;
- Building modern UI with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, following best practices;
- Developing robust asynchronous data layers using Coroutines, Flow, and WorkManager;
- Integrating with backend services via Retrofit, OkHttp, and GraphQL;
- Managing local storage with Room and DataStore;
- Ensuring code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to SOLID principles and design patterns;
- Collaborating with iOS and backend engineers to align on cross-platform solutions and architecture.
Technical skills
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience;
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin;
- Experience delivering production apps to Google Play;
- Jetpack Compose and Android SDK / Jetpack libraries;
- Architecture: MVVM / MVI, Clean Architecture, multi-module projects;
- SOLID principles and common design patterns;
- Asynchronous programming: Coroutines, Flow, WorkManager;
- Networking & APIs: Retrofit, OkHttp, GraphQL;
- Local storage: Room, DataStore;
- Fintech project experience is a plus.
Non-technical skills
- English level B2 or higher;
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality solutions on time;
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
