We are looking for a Middle QA Automation Engineer (Java or JavaScript) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and processes, ensuring the highest quality of software products. Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions using Java or JavaScript;
Implementing and maintaining test automation for internal systems;
Collaborating with development, information security, and DevOps teams to create automation frameworks;
Working closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to develop comprehensive test automation strategies;
Creating reusable testing frameworks;
Analyzing requirements and user stories to develop reliable automated solutions;
Conducting in-depth analysis of identified defects, assigning appropriate priority levels;
Creating and enhancing testing tools to optimize processes and improve testing efficiency.

Technical skills

3+ years of experience in test automation on commercial projects;
Practical experience in test automation with Java or JavaScript and one more language;
Hands-on experience with at least two automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenide, Selenium, Cypress, etc.);
Experience in both API and UI automation;
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket;
Strong understanding of RESTful web services;
Knowledge of principles and best practices of automated testing;
Ability to set up the AQA process from scratch;
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) and experience working in Agile teams.

Non-technical skills

Spoken English (B1-B2);
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Adaptability to changing environments.

Work schedule

Full-time position;
Flexible schedule from Monday to Friday. Most of our team members work from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Interview process

Competency based interview with a Recruiter & Check English (30-45 min);
Technical interview with a SoftTeco expert (1 hour).

QA Automation Engineer (Java or JS)
