About this position

SoftTeco is looking for a hands-on IT Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on various domains and software development within the agile SDLC. This role requires a balance of strong domain knowledge and excellent communication skills, enabling the candidate to act in an internal consulting capacity.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution
- Coordinate internal and external resources, including IT staff, to ensure projects are properly staffed and delivered on time. Develop and drive project plans, resource allocation;
Budget and Cost Management
- Financial oversight and cost control;
Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks;
Quality Assurance and Technical Feasibility
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and business users to conduct testing and ensure systems meet user requirements;
Communication and Stakeholder Management
Post-Project Evaluation
Continuous Improvement
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful practices and areas for improvement.

Technical skills

Experience
- 3+ years as an IT Project Manager;
Technical Proficiency
- Coding and technology knowledge (a strong advantage);
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases, from requirements to deployment;
Project Management Skills
- Agile/Scrum experience (Waterfall is an advantage);
- Resource allocation;
Communication and Cultural Sensitivity
- Cross-cultural competence;
- Remote collaboration skills;
Education and Certifications
- Technical education background;
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile will be an advantage;
Problem-Solving and Adaptability

Non-technical skills

High attention to detail and quality;
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding environment;
Systematic thinking and ability to build rapport with colleagues, partners, and customers;
Self-confidence, excellent communication skills, flexibility, initiative, perseverance, and responsibility;
Ability to multitask and stress resistance;
English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher;
Polish proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.

Work schedule

Full-time position;
Work formats available: remote, office, or hybrid (based on your preference);
Flexible schedule from Monday to Friday. Most of our team members work from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
