About this position

We are looking for a talented and experienced .NET Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in our dynamic team, collaborating with Project Managers (PM), Business Analysts (BA), and distributed international teams to deliver high-quality IT solutions. The project involves developing software for the pre-engineered metal building industry, focusing on updating ERP systems and creating solutions for self-storage and tech labs.

Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of applications using .NET / C# technologies.
Implementation of new features;
Building and enhancing front-end features for responsive and user-friendly applications using Blazor;
Design and optimization of Oracle databases for performance and security. Deep knowledge of SQL and the ability to optimize queries;
Design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based CI/CD pipelines;
Requirements analysis and adherence to best IT practices in daily work;
Performance tuning;
Maintenance and improvement of the existing platform.

Technical skills

Proven professional experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on back-end development and over 5 years of experience in .NET and C#;
Strong expertise in SQL Server and Oracle database design and development;
Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices;
Proficient in source control systems (Git, SVN) and Agile development methodologies;
Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and experience deploying applications to cloud environments;
In-depth knowledge of ASP.NET and MVC architectures, with a focus on best practices.

Non-technical skills

BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent;
Good conceptional skills;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Self-starting ability, excelling in research and problem-solving;
English at B2 level: ability to communicate directly with English-speaking stakeholders on a daily basis.

Work schedule

Full-time position with flexible work format: remote, office, or hybrid;
Flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, with working hours aligning closely to CST. You can work at any time, but should be available for 4 hours between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM (Poland time).
Сontract type: B2B.

Interview process

Competency based interview with a Recruiter & Check English (30-45 min);
Technical interview covering the candidate’s skills with our SoftTeco’s Expert (1 hour);
Client-side interview in English, which may include system design and coding tasks (1 hour);
Final HR interview to discuss work conditions and salary.
